engines from '84 to '02. Our engines are all rear wheel drive engines (RWD)
and are not compatible or interchangeable with front wheel drive motors (FWD)
that are found in Beretta's, Corsica's, Lumina's, Eurosport's, Etc. Check
out our extremely popular 3.4L-V6 for Camaro,
S10 and Blazer swaps. All engines are used. Our current
inventory is listed below as well. See notes

Conversions:
- 2.8 MPI to 3.1 or 3.4 MPI Conversion - 3.1 or 3.4
engine and flywheel, use your original 2.8 intake with the 3.1 or 3.4 injectors. You
can use the 3.1 or 3.4 intake with minor hose re-routing. Popular conversion for
older Camaros and Firebirds.
- 2.8 TBI to 3.1 or 3.4 TBI Conversion - 3.1 or 3.4
long block and flywheel, use your original 2.8 TBI intake to replace the MPI intake on the
3.1 or 3.4, this will give you a 3.1 or 3.4 TBI engine. Computer chip reprogramming
may be required for adequate fuel delivery. Popular for S-10's and Blazers with
2.8's.
- 3.8 conversions - none known yet,
as the 3.8 is not a conventional V6.
S-10, Blazer and Jimmy Conversion Information:
90%
of our 3.4's are sold to owners of S10s, Blazer's and Jimmy's. We have
several customers that have agreed to show a history of the swap.

2.8 TBI to 3.4 TBI in a Jimmy
- FLYWHEELS - When swapping in a 3.1/3.4, 88 and older 2.8's will require the
use of a 3.1/3.4 flywheel for correct balance. Flywheels are
additional.
- INTAKES - All the 2.8/3.1/3.4 intakes are
interchangeable. In other words, you can use a 2.8 intake on a 3.4.
The 3.4 has an oil pump driveshaft that is easily removed and can be
replaced with a conventional distributor.
- FUEL PUMPS - All 3.4's require the use of an electric fuel pump due to the
3.4's not having a fuel pump boss on the side of the block. This is
only required if using a carbureted intake and distributor. TBI
conversions require no changes. TBI to MPFI conversions will require
the change to a high pressure pump.
- OIL PAN - When installing a 3.4 into an S-10,
Blazer, or Jimmy, certain years require changing the oil pan for engine cross member
clearance. The oil pan is available through GM.
